Baby's Development:

Your baby begins to hear!

The surrounding amniotic liquid helps the external sounds to travel through from you to him/her.  It can hear mother's heart, stomach and especially the voice.  Some external sounds can also be heard.  

On the other hand, the brain is not yet mature enough to interpret this resonant information.

The first hairs make an appearance as well as light eyebrow hairs.

A very light covering of hairs begin to push through.  This is called the "lanugo".  This enables your baby to maintain a constant body temperature.  In the most part, this hair will have disappeared by the time of birth.

Her Emotions:

You use your energy to begin on the nursery.  Good move!  besides, you won't have anywhere near enough mobility soon.

His Emotions:

Now you come into your own!  She can tell you how she wants the nursery, then you can get her to go shopping for even bigger clothes while you can show your skills in the decorating arts.  Then when she gets the chance whilst your back is turned, she'll do it the way she wants it all by herself anyway...

Useful Information:

Warning: If mother is involved in the decorating (as is inevitably the case), WEAR A MASK when being around any paints or solvents!!!!!  The fumes can be very dangerous for both you and the baby, but particularly the baby!
