If she is under 18 years old and she hasn't yet acheived full growth: In this case, she must take at least 2500 calories per day which include extra protein foods like milk and cheese.
If she has very tiring work, it's 2200 to 2500 calories per day, to include proteins, carbohydrates (simple and complex) as well as foods that are rich in essential fatty acids (having high levels of vitamins from groups B and C).
If she has already has several children, then the normal 2000 calories per day is good but there must be a high intake of foods that supplement the contribution of iron, calcium, folic acid and essential minerals.
If twins are expected then your doctor will recommend a higher calorie intake.
